Local wakeboarders come out on top at Valley Wake Park Classic

Some local athletes came out on top at the second annual Valley Wake Park Classic wakeboarding championships at Albert Dyck Park in Abbotsford over the weekend.

James Balzer and his son River each came out on top in their divisions and Danae Dehaan won the girls wakeboarding competition.

Locals Crew Balzer, Tanner Salikin and Daniel Dyck also competed.

The event took place Saturday and Sunday, featuring wakeboarders and wakeskaters of all ages and skill levels.
