Raymond and Helen Lim teamed up for a decisive win at the Ledgeview Mixed Invitational, held over the Labour Day long weekend.

The Surrey couple combined for a two-day total of four-under 136 to take low gross honours at the Abbotsford layout, finishing well ahead of Bernie Bolokoski and Teri Fisher (143), and Michael Fisher and Faye Griffin (148).

Rod Benjamin and Mel Roadhouse finished with the low net score of 125.

The event drew 110 golfers from around the Lower Mainland, and raised $1,000 for Holmberg House, a resource centre and adult hospice planned by the Abbotsford Hospice Society as part of the Abbotsford Regional Hospital’s Campus of Care.

“The feedback we’re getting from the golfers is wonderful,” said Fisher, the Ledgeview club captain. “We get a good mix of serious golfers and golfers who just like to come out to have a good time, because the tournament has a great reputation for that.”
