Abbotsford golfer James Lepp has advanced to the final episode of the Golf Channel reality series Big Break Greenbrier.

Abbotsford golfer James Lepp has moved safely through to the finals of Big Break Greenbrier.

The penultimate episode of the Golf Channel reality show aired Tuesday evening, and Lepp won a five-hole elimination challenge. He finished at two under par, ahead of Savannah, Ga. native Mark Silvers (-1) and Isaac Sanchez (even par) of Folson, Calif.

Lepp and Silvers will meet in the finale, which airs next Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. Pacific time, while Sanchez was eliminated.

Lepp, 29, was one of 12 golfers cast for the show, which was taped in June and sees players compete in a variety of elimination challenges each episode. First prize includes an exemption into the PGA Tour's 2013 Greenbrier Classic, and $50,000 cash.

Lepp, who won the 2005 NCAA Div. 1 individual title with the Washington Huskies, put his pro playing career on the back burner in 2008 and started Kikkor Golf, a shoe and apparel company.
