A pair of Abbotsford lacrosse players have earned scholar athlete awards from the Burnaby Mountain Selects club.
Rhys Burnell and Jesse Worley, both members of the BMS boys elite squad and students at Yale Secondary, were honoured. The award recognizes players who participated in the BMS elite touring program, while achieving an academic average of 80 per cent or higher for the 2011-12 school year.
