Tyler Koslowsky of Abbotsford helped the Canadian junior national men's volleyball team to a silver medal at the NORCECA Men's Under-21 Continental Championship in Colorado Springs last week.
After winning each of their first four games of the tournament, the Canadians were in tough in the final against an also unbeaten American team, and despite a valiant effort were ultimately stymied by the home side in four sets (26-24, 25-17, 23-25, 25-21).
Canada was the only team in the tournament to take a set from the Americans, and they advance to next year's FIVB Men’s Junior World Championship by virtue of their top-three finish.
Koslowsky, a libero who is heading into his second season with the Trinity Western Spartans, finished the tourney with 38 digs, including an impressive 14 against Mexico in the semifinal.
