A trio of Abbotsford hockey prospects have been named to the training camp for Team Pacific.
Forwards Jake Virtanen, Matt Revel and Mitch Skapski – linemates with the Fraser Valley Bruins of the B.C. Major Midget League – made the roster for the camp, which runs July 25-29 in Kamloops. The camp brings together 68 elite players in the under-17 age group from Alberta and B.C. The top 22 will go on to represent the region at the World U17 Hockey Challenge, which begins Dec. 28 in Victoriaville and Drummondville, Que.
