High school QBs to compete for scholarships

The Damon Allen High School Quarterback Challenge, the first event of its kind in B.C., runs May 10 at the Richmond Olympic Oval.

The Damon Allen High School Quarterback Challenge, the first event of its kind in B.C., runs May 10 at the Richmond Olympic Oval.

The competition, named after the CFL Hall of Fame quarterback, will award partial university scholarships to the top three finishers. According to organizers, a pair of Abbotsford players will be in the field: Tanner Friesen (Robert Bateman Timberwolves) and Hunter Struthers (W.J. Mouat Hawks).
