Abbotsford Heat forward Lance Bouma was recalled by the Calgary Flames on Friday afternoon. Bouma, a rookie from Provost, Alta., has posted 20 points (12 goals, eight assists) in 58 games with the Heat this season. Friday’s recall is Bouma’s second of the campaign. The hard-nosed winger got into five games with the Flames in early February, posting one assist and a -1 rating while averaging 5:31 of ice time. The Flames host the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday in a game that will be broadcast on Hockey Night in Canada. The Heat, meanwhile, open a two-game set against the AHL-leading Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins tonight.
