Abbotsford’s Adam Hadwin finished last weekend’s Shell Houston Open tied for 25th place at minus-eight.

Hadwin was the model of consistency at the Golf Club of Houston, shooting rounds 0f 69, 71, 70, and 70 en route to a $44,330 pay day.

Hadwin has now made the cut in seven of his last eight tournaments.

Fellow Abbotsford golfer Nick Taylor struggled in his first round of the tournament, shooting 74. His one-under second round wasn’t good enough to drag him above the cut line.

Hadwin is ranked 87th in the FedEx Cup points standings, while Taylor is ranked 45th.
