Adam Hadwin followed up his first career Web.com Tour victory with a 65th-place finish at the Brasil Champions in Sao Paulo.

The 26-year-old Abbotsford golfer came into Sunday's final round in 52nd place at six under par, but he got off to a terrific start, registering five birdies (and no bogeys) on the front nine. But he struggled on the back nine, sliding back down the leaderboard after carding three bogeys and three double bogeys to finish at +2 for the day. That left him at -4 for the tournament.

Hadwin, the winner at the Chile Open the previous week, earned $1,984 for his finish, which brings his total earnings this season to $138,484, good for third on the Web.com Tour money list. The top 25 at season's end earn PGA Tour cards for 2015.

Fellow Abbotsford golfer Nick Taylor missed the cut for the first time in three tournaments this season, carding rounds of 68 and 73 to finish at -3, one stroke off the cut line.

The next Web.com Tour stop is the Panama Claro Championship in Panama City, beginning on Thursday.
