Adam Hadwin finished tied for 14th at the Canadian Tour Championship in Windsor, Ont. on the weekend.
The 23-year-old pro golfer from Abbotsford shot 69-68-69-66 at the Ambassador Golf Club to end up at 12 under par, nine strokes back of champion Stuart Anderson of Strathmore, Alta., who won in a playoff over Richard Scott. Hadwin earned $3,600 for his finish.
Hadwin and fellow Abbotsford pro Nick Taylor have both committed to play the Vancouver Golf Tour’s showcase event, the Vancouver Open, this weekend. McCleery and Langara are the host sites on Friday and Saturday, while Sunday’s final round is at Fraserview Golf Course. Hadwin is the defending champion. For more information, visit vancouveropen.ca.
