Four Abbotsford Rugby Football Club players have been selected for B.C.'s under-20 women's team, which will participate in the National Women's League Finals next week in Vancouver.
Kayla Van Veld, Shaylene Patterson, Meagan Chambers and Elyssa Phillipson have been named to the provincial squad.
The tourney runs June 27-30 at UBC's Wolfson Fields and will feature feature U20, Senior and Premier divisions. The event is Rugby Canada's top domestic women's competition.
This year's U20 competition will allow for some overage (U23) players, and Phillipson and Chambers are among that group.
