Four Abbotsford Rugby Football Club players have made the cut for the B.C. Elite Youth Sevens boys teams which will be making a trip to the Las Vegas Invitational Sevens in February.

Spencer Miller, Spencer Loughlin and Joey Campbell have been named to the under-18 side, while Jason Hignell will suit up for the U17 squad. Miller, Loughlin and Hignell all attend Yale Secondary, while Campbell is at Sardis Secondary.

After spending much of the fall season holding regional and provincial identification sessions and development camps, the Las Vegas tournament (Feb. 8-10) kicks off an exciting 2013 schedule which will see the top players move on to competitions in Hong Kong and Victoria. The B.C. Elite program is part of a pathway designed to identify and develop young athletes who will be best qualified to represent Canada at future Rugby World Cups and Olympic Games.
