The Abbotsford Pilots took full advantage of a rare weekend with two home games, picking up a pair of victories vs. the North Vancouver Wolf Pack and the Ridge Meadows Flames.

A two-goal outing from Colton Cowden paced the local junior B hockey club to a 5-3 win over the Wolf Pack on Friday at MSA Arena. Braeden Monk, Bradley Parker and Eric Wieking also tallied for the hosts, while Zachary Station made 33 saves in net.

On Saturday, the Pilots got goals from seven different players in a 7-1 win over Ridge Meadows. Parker, Monk, Jared Virtanen, Dylan Kooner, Joel Atkinson, Kolten Grieve and Jarrett Martin were the scorers, and Station turned aside 20 shots as Abby out-shot the Flames 49-21.

• This week, the Pilots (3-2-0) visit the Mission City Outlaws on Thursday (7:15 p.m., Mission Leisure Centre), and host the Richmond Sockeyes on Friday (7:30 p.m., MSA Arena).
