The Abbotsford Skating Club combined for a series of sparkling performances at the recent Jingle Blades competition in Vancouver.
In the Star 1 girls division, Navleen Grewal and Lauren Paller earned gold ribbons in their respective groups, while Anika Phinney won gold in Star 2.
Silver ribbons went to Syndey Cleveland (Star 1 girls), Simran Loray (Star 1 girls), Kali Lee (Star 1 girls) and Dohyun Kim (Star 2 boys), while Joyce Grubb (Star 1 girls), Harneet Shoker (Star 1 girls), Mya Elgersma (Star 2 girls) and Mica Kerr (Star 3 girls) took bronze.
Other top-five finishers included Sarah Steberl (fourth, U14 juvenile women), Francesca Sandini (fourth, U14 pre-juvenile women), Megan Geddes (fourth, gold interpretive), Kendra Russell (fourth, Star 5 girls 13-plus), Karmen Gill (fourth, Star 4 girls 13-plus), Komalpreet Chauhan (fifth, U13 Star 4 girls), Emily Haw (fifth, Star 4 girls U13), Jennifer Oh (fifth, Star 4 girls U13) and Kate Thompson (fifth, Star 4 girls U13).
