The Abbotsford Skating Club’s annual ice show will take on a cinematic flair this year.

The production, which includes two shows on Saturday at MSA Arena (2 p.m. and 7 p.m.), is entitled "Icing the Red Carpet", and will feature group numbers and solos choreographed to songs from award-winning movies.

The performances will bring together over 50 skaters from the local club, under the direction of Stacy Geddes, Tami Kerr, Shauna Proke and Diane Zinn.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students and seniors, and children three and under are free. They are available at Tourism Abbotsford, Magnuson Ford, and at the MSA Arena box office 30 minutes prior to each show.
