FIELD LACROSSE: Fraser Valley claims the bronze

Medal earned in 14-1 routing of the Vancouver-Coastal team

Fraser Valley vs. Vancouver

Fraser Valley’s boys field lacrosse team bounced back after a tough one-goal loss in the semifinal game to claim the bronze medal in a 14-1 routing of the Vancouver-Coastal team.

Coach Harpreet Grewal said his team’s spirits were low after the close loss.

“I told them: ‘The game is over but the games aren’t over.’”

Grewal said he was impressed with his players’ ability to turn things around and focus on their final game of the tournament.

Drew Andre led his squad with a hat-trick, with Tristan Ellison, Trevor Funk, Drew Kask and Kaidin Sheehan-Davies each netting a pair of goals.

Matthew Abbott, Samuel Adams, Kyle Brunsch, Cooper Gettel, Jude MCadie, Lochlan Munro, Stryker Roloff and Brody Tarling all contributed a goal each to the effort.
