As the Abbotsford Canucks continue their quest to get to the Calder Cup Finals, a different type of hockey will be sharing the spotlight this weekend as the Abbotsford Wolverines Cup makes its return for a couple days of non-stop field hockey action.
The third edition of this annual tournament will feature competitions for all age groups across both days, with the event being hosted at Dasmesh Punjabi School.
Seven athletes per side will share the field in action-packed matches ranging from U8 to adults, with the athletes and officials also receiving free food throughout the tournament.
The Abbotsford Wolverines Cup takes place June 7 and 8, with more information available at wolverinesfhc.ca.
