A blowout win by the Abbotsford Falcons’ junior bantam Black squad highlighted the weekend in community football action.
JB Black blasted the Chilliwack Giants 58-0, with huge games from Jordan Townrow, Tyson Reid, Samwel Uko and Ezra Garcia-Landa, and the defence accounted for four touchdowns.
The Abby atoms beat Chilliwack White 26-8. Mikalya Trolland and J.T. Simms led a terrific blocking performance on offence, paving the way for Ercy Avul (2), Tyson Kelly and Taejshon Catlin to find the end zone. Dallas Standcombe, Kayden Sasorith-Johnston and Jayden Thind led the defence.
The junior bantam White squad dropped a 26-22 decision to the North Langley Bears, despite a strong defensive performance and TDs by Dion Kelly and Zach Langfield.
