Adam Estoclet's strong showing during a 25-game stint with the Abbotsford Heat last season has earned him a new contract.
The 23-year-old forward from Naperville, Ill. signed a one-year AHL pact with Abbotsford on Wednesday.
He joined the Heat in early February on loan from the Grand Rapids Griffins, at a point in the season where the Abbotsford squad was thin up front due to injuries and NHL recalls.
Estoclet, a Dartmouth College grad, made an immediate offensive impact. He posted nine points in his first eight games while playing predominantly with fellow NCAA products Ben Walter and Hugh Jessiman on a unit dubbed the "college line."
He finished with five goals and 10 assists in his 25 regular season games with the Heat, and added one assist in two playoff games.
