Douglas, Sandover-Best to suit up for Canada at Junior World Rugby Trophy

Justin Douglas and Jorden Sandover-Best are preparing to represent Canada at the International Rugby Board’s Junior World Rugby Trophy.

Former Bateman Secondary teammates Justin Douglas and Jorden Sandover-Best are preparing to represent Canada at the International Rugby Board’s Junior World Rugby Trophy in Hong Kong.

Douglas and Sandover-Best departed for England last week to play three matches against premiership academy teams. From there, they’ll return to the Canadian rugby centre for excellence before flying to Hong Kong on April 2.

Canada will be looking to better its runner-up finish at the 2013 Junior World Rugby Trophy, when they lost 45-23 in the final to Italy. Both Douglas and Sandover-Best, along with fellow Abby native Ryan March, were part of the team last year.
