Justin Dorey's goal early in the second overtime period lifted the Abbotsford Pilots to a 4-3 victory over the Delta Ice Hawks on Monday evening at MSA Arena.

The dramatic triumph enabled the Pilots to draw even with the Ice Hawks in their Pacific International Junior Hockey League championship series, at two wins apiece.

The Ice Hawks had jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by Cody Fidgett and Tanner Gattinger, but the Pilots battled back to knot the score 3-3, with Riley Lamb (2) and Kyle Star supplying the offence.

The first OT settled nothing, but Dorey sent the local fans home happy when he beat Delta goalie Glenn Ferguson at the 2:12 mark of the second sudden-death session.

Game 5 goes Tuesday night at Ladner Leisure Centre, while Game 6 is set for Friday at MSA Arena. Both games start at 7:30 p.m.
