500 volunteers sign up for Games

President of the Mission BC Winter Games, Brian Antonson, speaks to local residents at Saturday's Community Awareness day. The event was staged at the Mission Leisure Centre. Currently 500 people have signed up as volunteers for the Winter Games. The event will require many more people to help stage this high level competition.

This is just one of a number of community awareness events leading up to the provincial event. The B.C. Winter Games runs February 20th through 23rd 2014. For further information about the upcoming Games, visit the BC Winter Games website.
