Chilliwack's Brooklyn Klim has signed with the CBC Bearcats.

The Columbia Bible College Bearcats women's basketball program has announced the signing of Chilliwack's Brookyln Klim for the 2025-26 Pacwest season.

The 6-6 forward is transferring from the North Vancouver-based Capilano Blues to join the Bearcats.

Klim spent her rookie season in 2024-25 with the Blues and appeared in 19 games. She averaged 1.1 points per game and 1.5 rebounds per game while playing limited minutes coming off the bench. Klim's top individual effort last season saw her score four points and grab two rebounds in eight minutes against the VIU Mariners on Nov. 22, 2024.

“Brooklyn is a great local talent," stated Bearcats head coach Taylor Claggett. "She is a true post player who will be able to operate well for us in the paint. We’re excited to have her join us this year."

Klim is a 2024 G.W. Graham grad and helped lead the Grizzlies senior girls basketball team to an eighth place finish at the 2024 4A provincials.

She joins a Bearcats team that captured the school's first-ever Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association women's basketball title on March 15. It capped off a historic season for the club that saw them also earn a Pacwest silver medal and finish second in the conference with the program's best-ever record of 19-3.

The Pacwest regular season typically begins in October and runs until February.
