Steven Marshall of Abbotsford has been named to the Canadian men's volleyball roster for the FISU World University Games this summer.
Marshall, a recent graduate of Trinity Western University and an alum of the Spartans volleyball program, was one of 18 players selected for the initial squad. Of those players, 12 will travel to the tournament, which runs July 4-19 in Kazan, Russia.
Marshall, a left side, helped the Spartans win the 2012 CIS championship. He was a second team Canada West all-star in 2012-13.
