Hayden Tuba represented Delta at the top of the podium for boys' discus after Saturday's competition in Abbotsford.
He recorded a distance of 40.94 metres, getting past silver medalist Iqam Bhandal of Vancouver (39.16) and bronze medalist Jacob Taylor of Salmon Arm (37.46).
Bhandal also secured the silver in the boys' hammer at 44.86. Taylor narrowly missed the podium in the javelin, landing in fourth place.
