Mike Bossy and Kirk McLean will be the guests of honour for the Abbotsford Heat’s next two Legends of Hockey promotions.
Bossy, the Hockey Hall of Famer who won four Stanley Cups in the 1980s with the New York Islanders, will sign autographs at the Heat’s Nov. 9 home game vs. the Toronto Marlies. McLean, one of the greatest goalies in Vancouver Canucks history, will make his appearance on Nov. 29 when the Heat host the Utica Comets, the Canucks’ affiliate.
Both players will sign autographs in a first come, first serve basis, and fans who lead a group sale of 30 or more tickets will have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive meet-and-greet.
The Heat also announced a “Monster Mash” promotion featuring prize giveaways during Saturday’s home game vs. the Lake Erie Monsters.
Fans are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes for a best-dressed contest, and kids under 12 can participate in a “Trick or Suite” – trick or treating through the suite level during the first and second intermissions.
The Heat and Monsters play on both Friday and Saturday at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre (7 p.m. both nights).
