Abbotsford’s Brooklyn Gerber made a splash at the at the 13th annual LOSC Invitational recently hosted in Langley.
Gerber, a member of the Abbotsford Olympians Swim Club, swam a total of four events and achieved four new time standards. She achieved her second BC “AAA” time standard in the 100-metre freestyle (1:14.04), which now qualifies her to attend the 2015 BC Open Championships held in Victoria.
Gerber also gained three new BC “AA” time standards in the 200-metre breaststroke (3:27.08), 100-metre backstroke (1:24.06) and 200-metre freestyle (2:46.33).
