Eight players from Abbotsford were selected to participate in the B.C. Cup U16 boys hockey tournament in Salmon Arm last weekend.
Forwards Brett Clayton, Benjamin Brar, Kohen Olischefski and Karamdev Grewal, and defencemen Nolan Ferguson, Tyler Wickman, Marshall Skapski and Cody Paivarinta were picked for the event, which divided players from across the province into eight teams.
Wickman and Brar helped Team Canucks to the final, where they fell 4-3 in a shootout to Team Flyers.
