Abbotsford golfers Nick Taylor and Adam Hadwin both had excellent round one results at the Waste Management Phoenix on Thursday (Feb. 9).
The Ledgeview Golf Club products were tied at second on the leaderboard at -5 (66). The pair only trailed Australian Jason Day, who finished Thursday at -6 (65).
Hadwin and Taylor both collected six birdies, with Taylor also scoring an eagle on hole three.

The pair both return to the links for day two on Friday (Feb. 10) afternoon.
Taylor’s last PGA tournament win occurred at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Feb. 9, 2020. Hadwin’s last PGA win was the Valspar Championship on March 12, 2017.
