Abbotsford’s Chase Claypool makes his first-ever appearance at Seattle’s Lumen Field when he and his new teammates on the Buffalo Bills visit the Seahawks on Oct. 27.
This will be the closest he has ever played professionally to Panther Field, which he dominated with the Abbotsford Panthers back in 2015.
The National Football League’s schedule was released last week and the Bills open the season by hosting the Arizona Cardinals on Sept. 8. Claypool will then travel to Miami to take on his former Dolphins teammates on Sept. 12.

The Bills also do have three preseason games scheduled (vs. Chicago Bears on Aug. 10, at Pittsburgh Steelers on Aug. 17 and vs. Carolina Panthers on Aug. 24), but it’s hard to say how much playing time Claypool will receive in those games.
Buffalo finished first in the AFC East in 2023 and finished with a record of 11-6. They defeated the Steelers in the wild card round, before falling 27-24 to the Chiefs in the divisional round.
Claypool signed a one-year deal with the Bills back on May 3. He will be wearing number 14 with his new team. Bills head coach Sean McDermott told media this week that he has been impressed by the new signing.
