Abbotsford students threw, ran, and jumped their way to victory at the 2025 Track and Field Provincial Championships, bringing home dozens of medals.
Although there was plenty of stiff competition, Abbotsford students managed to earn a podium spot in 17 events, including gold-medal finishes in seven of these events.
The winningest local school was W.J. Mouat, which also finished in first overall in the province for the 3A Boys division.
In the 2A Girls division, it was MEI who came out on top, with the school finishing in second place in the combined 2A Boys and Girls division.
Several Abbotsford teens were able to earn medals in multiple events, including MEI's Arianna Buitelaar, who won gold in both the 1500m and 3000m senior girls races.
