The Abbotsford Pilots second round opponent in the Pacific Junior Hockey League playoffs has been determined.

The Pilots will take on the Ridge Meadows Flames in round two, with game one of that series occurring tomorrow (Friday) at 7:30 p.m. in Maple Ridge.

Abbotsford swept the Langley Trappers in round one, while the Flames disposed of the defending champion Aldergrove Kodiaks in five games.

The two teams met six times in the regular season, with each team winning three games. The clubs last met on Jan. 19 in Abbotsford, with the Pilots picking up a 3-2 win.

Game two in the series is scheduled for Abbotsford’s MSA Arena on Saturday at 3 p.m. Game three shifts back to Maple Ridge on Wednesday, with game four occurring back in Abbotsford on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Ridge Meadows ended the Pilots season last year, after eliminating Abbotsford in five games in round one of the playoffs.

The winner of the series will move on to the PJHL final to take on the winner of the Tom Shaw conference final series between the Delta Ice Hawks and Richmond Sockeyes.
