The Health Care Heroes Slo-Pitch Tournament is making its grand return this weekend at Abbotsford Exhibition Park, with plenty of sports, music, food, and much more available across the three days.
This annual tournament is a chance for some fun in the sun while also supporting a good cause, with thousands of dollars being given to the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation in past years.
In addition to a four-game round robin for the slo-pitch teams, there is also be a food truck, beer garden, 50/50 raffle, and live music from a long list of local bands.
The full stage schedule is:
Friday – Campbell & Co (2 to 4 p.m.), Kaleb Vless (4 to 6 p.m.), and Sticks and Stones (6 to 8 p.m.)
Saturday – Cracked Wheat (2 to 4 p.m.), Amber A. Blaze (4 to 6 p.m.), and New Variant (6 to 8 p.m.)
Sunday – Sawyer (2 to 4 p.m.) and Topaz (4 to 6 p.m.)
