The Abbotsford Curling Club reopened for competition on Tuesday (Nov. 26).

After about a month long closure, the Abbotsford Curling Club officially reopened on Tuesday (Nov. 26).

Regular league competition has returned to the ice and the Senior Mixed Bonspiel will occur from Dec. 6 to 8.

The installation of the house, lines and logo's will be completed on the weekend.

Refrigeration plant issues caused the closure of the club starting on Oct. 23. Repairs took about a month and also forced the 2025 Canadian Mixed Doubles Trials to move from Abbotsford to Maple Ridge. That event was set to run from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3.

Both the Senior Ladies Bonspiel (which was set to occur on Oct. 25 and 26) and the Master's Bonspiel (which was supposed to run from Nov. 8 to 10) were cancelled.

Other upcoming competitions scheduled to occur at the club include: Men's and Women's CurlBC Playdowns (Dec. 13 to 15), Special O Bonspiel (Jan. 18), Men's Bonspiel (Jan. 24 to 26), Mixed Superbowl Bonspiel (Feb. 7 to 9) and the Ladies Bonspiel (Feb. 14 to 16).

The ACC will also be hosting a New Year's Eve Party with a music, snacks and more. Additional details on that event will be released in the coming weeks.
