Abbotsford high school rugby celebrated a successful year with the All-City Awards earlier this month.
With the help of local coaches, officials and designated club members, the Abbotsford Rugby Football Club has selected a senior boys' and girls All-City team from nominated players from each school.
Senior Boys: Dylan Araki, Jones Belsher, Matt Calderone and Steve Michaud from Bateman; Zach Bain, Connor Byron, Chris Combs, Ali Ghafoor, Evan Johnston, Josh Long, Jake McLean, Andrew Meier, Thomas Rennie, Luke Rideout and Diego Zuniga from Yale; Aaron Brandscome, Payton Gibson, Reese Gibson, Dion Pellerin, Reuben Reardon and Cam Tomm from Mouat; and Gino Mayes, James Parker, Mike Sabourin and Rhys Sommerville from Abby Senior.
Senior Girls: Allison Appeldoorn, Tayler Bailey, Sophia Belsher, Hunter Czeppel and Morgan Ursel from Bateman; Kashish Arya ,Julianna Carter, Tausani Levale, Rachel Choboter and Trinity Pedersen from Abby Senior; Mackenzie Carson, Kanisha Clairmont, Alice Ned, Cassie Terepocki and Ariel Wiebe from Yale; Emmy Baker, Kate Baker, Kyra Lipke, Tyanna Paling and Hailey Pelliter from Mission.
