My response to MLA John van Dongen leaving the sinking Liberal ship is “right on, John.”

I have more respect for John than if he stayed with the Liberals. There have been too many questionable decsions on the part of the Liberal leadership including the sale of BC Rail, HST debacle and the latest issue of cancelling the proposed $35-million sale of naming rights on BC Place stadium to Telus.

I think it took alot of courage for John to leave the Liberal caucus. I wish more Liberal members would follow John’s lead.
