To Mayor Banman and councillors: Having recently bicycled through the redesigned intersection of Peardonville Road and Livingstone Avenue I would like to say “thank you” on behalf of bicyclists in Abbotsford.
The engineering staff have to be complimented on creating a design that overall works well for both motorists and bicyclists.
As Mayor Banman said at the Bike to Work Week barbecue on May 28, “We need to get more people using the bike lanes.”
This improvement is one small step – yet very essential – in getting more people riding bikes.
