Photograph those who park illegally

I watched a badly limping elderly gentlemen hobbling his way to the grocery store from the far end of a full parking lot.

I watched a badly limping elderly gentlemen hobbling his way to the grocery store from the far end of a full parking lot.

The man stopped three times to catch his breath. When he come to the handicapped parking stall he saw an able-bodied man come waltzing out of the grocery store with two big bags. The man swung the groceries in the back of his truck parked in the handicapped parking stall.

The elderly gentlemen hobbled up to him and said, “ Sir, are you handicapped? I do not see a sign in your front window?”

The towering big brute turned and with disgraceful language told the man to buzz off if he knew what was good for him.

Two days later, a dear friend of mine, who can barely walk due to back problems, tried to find a parking spot. All were taken. She too saw a healthy able-bodied young woman rush to her car, parked illegally, and prepare to take off. My friend tapped on her window and repeated the same words the man said two days earlier. She, too, was told loud and clear to mind her own business by this awfully rude woman.

An illegal handicap stall parking ticket cost $109 dollars. There is such a thing as a citizens arrest. All you do is whip out your phone, and take three photos. The rear of the vehicle (license plate/model of vehicle), the parking spot showing the vehicle and disabled parking signs, and the front windshield showing no disabled placard or ID. Add the date, street and the address and submit the report to the police station.

Knowing many eyes are watching their disgusting, egotistic, behaviours might just square these type of folks into becoming considerate human beings, maybe?
