Pay as you go still a good plan

Do we need more water now? No. Will we need more in the future? Yes.

Do we need more water now? No.

Will we need more in the future? Yes.

Old Mayor George and I went through the Dirty ’30s. We were taught to pay as you go, and that is still a good plan.

Before Plan A, we had over $50 million in the bank for emergencies.

The city fathers spent a quarter of a million dollars telling us how to vote.

Now we are multi-millions in debt, and going down fast without a life vest – this time on the water.

At least we are told $200,000 will be spent telling us what to do and how to vote.

Fifty-one per cent of the 23 per cent of the eligible voters voted for Plan A.

One hundred per cent of the taxpayers are paying for that big mistake.

Council should have recognized they also represent 77 per cent of the people that did not vote, and are responsible to do the right thing for all the taxpayers of the city.

Wake up, the world is in a full-blown depression.

If everyone P-3 before they flush, we will have plenty of water.
