I applaud Mayor Bruce Banman for casting the deciding vote in favour of expansion of the number of slot machines at Chances Abbotsford.
With his vote he has sent a clear message. Council is not the moral police, council must do what’s best for the city on a financial level and leave moral objections to Sunday morning pulpits.
The people of this city have spoken and their voice was heard.
