I’m tired. Why do I have to think about this? Saturday night in Abbotsford, and whenever the wind shifts, it brings the stink of burning chemicals and plastics to the air. Some farmer is trying to save a buck.

Saturday night in Abbotsford, and whenever the wind shifts, it brings the stink of burning chemicals and plastics to the air. Some farmer is trying to save a buck.

It’s not OK for farmers to burn petrochemicals, but it happens all the time and not a peep is spoken.

I farm and live in the Valley. Out here we ranted and raved about SE2, then defeated it.

Today MetroVan plans a garbage incinerators and Fraser Valley folks are up in arms.

But there is no outcry over our own pollution of the airshed.

How is it possible that my family must breath plastic stench with no remedy in sight?
