Reading that the female-demeaning Lingerie Football League has been granted its own franchise here in Abbotsford was shocking indeed.
One can only wonder as to who oversees such decisions in our city.
Indeed, who in our fair city sets the morality standards when it comes to the economic side of things? Is there a clear line drawn anywhere?
Or, heaven forbid, are Abbotsford citizens willing to ditch all morality standards when it comes to making a buck or two?
We sure do not need such low-down under-par garbage entertainment to help us over the hump.
Besides, a clean wholesome sport like the Heat hockey team is unable to fill the arena with spectators. What makes any of the organizers figure that their latest brain wave of inviting an entertainment venue that’s filled with obscene, distasteful, offensive and repugnant dress and behaviours will do any better when it comes to selling tickets and making monies?
Surely, there’s got to be more respectable entertainment to get hold of.
