Being from Penticton where we have our own money losing South Okanagan Events Centre I take great interest in your Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre and once when returning home from Vancouver even tried to find it.
Unfortunately after spending the better part of two hours driving around Abbotsford I gave up. I saw banners for the Heat but no signs to the rink.
Unfortunately any coverage of the Heat in the Okanagan is equally elusive. Assuming the team has a PR department they may want to update out of town media on the careers of former KIJHL, BCHL and WHL players who are coming to town.
Maybe some involvement with junior teams or some exhibition games outside of Abbotsford. Do your hotels do package deals? I'm sure the AHL is great hockey - I don't have a clue which division the Heat are in or how to find the AESC but I'd like to.
