On Dec. 29, I went to SaveOn Foods to pick up a few items. When I got out of my vehicle, I tripped on a parking barrier and fell, hitting my face on cement. I was bleeding badly.
Where I fell it was hard for anyone to see me but a woman pushing a cart full of groceries finally did see me. I asked if she could get me some help but she said, “No, I have to find my vehicle.” Really? How could she be so uncaring?
Someone else found me and went inside to get me some help. A nurse that was shopping there came to the rescue. An ambulance was called and over my objections, I was on my way to emergency.
I would like to thank the nurse and the staff at SaveOn for their assistance. Also a big thank you to the ambulance crew and the staff in the emergency ward.
As for the woman who would not get me help, shame on you.
