LETTER: Revealing oneself as a religious bigot

Some of the greatest artists, musicians, scientists and writers had a belief and faith in God

It’s sad that letter-writer Kevin Francis does not understand how ignorant his comments are regarding the Bible and Christianity – Bronze Age mythology?

Some of the  greatest artists, musicians, scientists and writers had a belief and faith in God. Copernicus, Sir Francis Bacon, Galileo, Descartes, Pascal, Newton, Bach, Van Gogh, Tolstoy, Handel, Michaelangelo, C.S. Lewis, to name just a few.

I guess they saw something that Mr. Francis does  not and glorified God with their talents.

The science of archaeology proves many of the historical facts narrated in the Bible. For just  one example they found in Caesarea  a stone fragment with Pontius Pilate’s name on it. He was the governor whose final word sent Christ to the cross.

Sadder still though is revealing oneself as a religious bigot.
