LETTER: Police should focus on cyclists

Where are the police when I as a pedestrian am run down by cyclists on the sidewalk and by cars in crosswalks?

The story with the policing high fiving folk for using a crosswalk was a joke. What a wonderful photo op, but not much more.

Where are the police when I as a pedestrian am run down by cyclists on the sidewalk and by cars in crosswalks? Where is the enforcement? ¬†As for cyclists, why don’t all cyclists war helmets? (Most do not.) Isn’t it the law?

Do not tell me there is enforcement, as I’ve never seen it, and I am a frequent walker. The police shouldn’t be focusing on pedestrians, but the cyclists and drivers threatening them.
