LETTER: Police should focus on cyclists

Where are the police when I as a pedestrian am run down by cyclists on the sidewalk and by cars in crosswalks?

The story with the policing high fiving folk for using a crosswalk was a joke. What a wonderful photo op, but not much more.

Where are the police when I as a pedestrian am run down by cyclists on the sidewalk and by cars in crosswalks? Where is the enforcement?  As for cyclists, why don't all cyclists war helmets? (Most do not.) Isn't it the law?

Do not tell me there is enforcement, as I've never seen it, and I am a frequent walker. The police shouldn't be focusing on pedestrians, but the cyclists and drivers threatening them.
