LETTER: More pressing issues than a pride flag

The homeless population and camp is of far greater concern to this city

Why are we so concerned with the flying of a pride flag at city hall when we have a more pressing issue at hand? The homeless population and camp is of far greater concern to this city than what people do in the privacy of their own bedrooms.

We have one of the highest populations of religious people in the lower mainland, and possibly even Canada as a whole, and still we ignore the problem.

We should all be ashamed of ourselves for not doing more to resolve this issue.

Are we not compassionate? Do we not love our neighbour? The courts will not be able to solve this for us, we must figure it out ourselves.
