Dropping the rodeo from Agrifair would be a progressive step, as well as a wise, financial decision.
Modern families want cruelty-free entertainment. The 2007 decision by the Cloverdale Rodeo to eliminate roping events has proven popular, with no negative effect on attendance. The Agrifair should go further and end the rodeo altogether.
