I am responding to an allegation made (in a letter) by P.S. Fraser that at a recent event at the Ramada Inn I referred to the “Harper government.”
In fact, I brought greetings “on behalf of Prime Minister Harper and our federal government.”
To ensure I was understood correctly, I asked our host, Julia Foy, to take note that I was not using the term “Harper government.”
Clearly, this was all lost on Mr./Ms. Fraser.
In the future I would ask that Mr./Ms. Fraser temper her partisanship by accurately reporting the facts.
